Saw that the other day just looking up random Hobie stuff on youtube. That is a hell of a fish, a great story and a once in a lifetime catch i imagine.

Do a google for " Bluewater Jon" . He had a major article in National Geographic as well as a National Geographic special on TV about his bill-fish fishing from a yak. 4 in a single day in 2008 while shooting the special.
He used to post in TKF and had some great video.

The dang thing was pulling him further out to sea. Wonder what he would have done if he was alone? Me, Ii probably would have cut the line after the first hour.
Zombie & B_Rod,
My FF is installed and mounted. I didn't even need to use the hole I drilled out for the first installation/mount job. Gotta figure out some way to plug up the hole. New lines on the reels, and Kayak has been cleaned from all the creek fishing I've been doing. Now ready for pretty much any kind of fishing....Now just need the ice to melt????
