So whats this I hear about a certain lake producing lunker #3 this year, and was caught in 75' of water on a swim bait???? I'm thinking if anyone can clarify it would be Mr. Jr. Howard....

You're right. You can see the huge balls of shad on your graph. The whites are staged all around them, making them show up big time. You can also see the larger arches under those balls of shad. Seems they were all out in about 45 to 50 foot depths, next to the river channel.

Ok the hole story.

I found this spot the night before on my lav chip for computer. When I go to the lake I could not remember where the spot was because the lake was so low. I fished all day only catching 2 small fish. I fished the dam the river. And said @ 1:30 it's 4 hours to the house I'm done. As I was halling butt back to the ramp to go home. I saw the lowrance go from 75' to 24'. I was like jackpot turned around and marked 4 fish off the ledge in 45'-69'. To chunked my buoy. And cast 6 times with a big swim bait. OMG I thought I was hung up when she started pulling I was like CAT FISH. 5 min later she came up great no net. I leaned over the side of the boat and grabed her and I was like blank slow motion. I then filled the live well with a bucked because she was swollen from coming from so deep I did not want her to die. I took the fish straight to the weigh in and Chris Davis fizzes her because my needle was not long enough. (Bud Light Tournement). when ipicked her up to take the photos and she almost took my hand off. In saying that she was in great shape when TP&W picked her up. Thanks bud light guys.

WE FISHED ABOUT 300 YARDS FROM WHERE YOU CAUGHT HER AND SAW SEVERAL BOATS THROUGHOUT THE DAY COME AND GO FROM THAT SPOT. WE GOT ON NICE FISH THE DAY BEFORE HANGING UNDER SHAD ON THE LEDGES! NICE CATCH, SHE SURE IS A BEAUTY.
