Results for 1/15/11

Due to the rainy forecast we only had 4 boats show up today, but it turned out to be a great day fro fishing! All 4 boats had a limit and the weights are as follows:

1st Place: Guevara/Chavez 14lbs 12oz and a big bass of 4lbs 8oz

2nd Place: Stogsdill/Bray 14lbs 11oz and a big bass of 4lb 13oz

3rd Place: Westall/ Westall Jr 14lbs 8oz and a big bass of 4lbs 4oz

4th Place: Sorry forgot the name but a weight of 12lbs 10oz

This was the best day in terms of overall weights we have EVER seen at Medina, come on out in 2 weeks have some fun folks!

Greg Mike here. Can you change the names in first place to Guevara/Chavez. What the heck man just because were both hispanic doesen't mean were brothers and you could just guess were both "Corona's" hahaha j/k

Well the last tournament at Medina was good but not a good turn out. I beleave we had 6 teams that showed up. Don't have correct weights but close. Fishing is very good catching about 15 to 25 keeper bass in 7 hrs.
1st Bryan & Will 17 lbs.
2nd 15 + lbs
3rd 14 or 13 lb
4th 13 lb
5th 11 or 10 lb
6th 9 lb

If you are won'ting to learn to fish a Jig or any other bait at Medina I still Guide but not full time any more. Call Bryan @ 523-5977 just leave a message and I will Call Back.

The bite is still on and lots of fish where caught. Every boat had a limit and five boats had 12lbs or more.....not to bad for Medina Lake folks.


First Place went to Bryan and Will with 17 lbs. and a kicker bass of 6.01 lbs.


The boat with the lowest total weight was over 9 lbs and that would have won a lot of tournaments at the beginning of last year. So get ready for another good day at the lake for our next tournament on February 12, 2011.

$40 entry fee per boat
