Went to Grapvine with David and my dad on sunday. We launched the boat around 10:30 or so. We did not go very far and found fish in 50 feet of water but suspended at about 35 feet. The trick was a flies-by-night fly tied above my 3/4 pink and white slab, or chartreuse and white, I started out with a 1 oz chrome and caught some pigs but the bite was faster on a smaller bait. A lot of the fish were caught on the fly.

Those are some healthy fish (pigs). Looked a little cold out there, though.

Was that that super fat 16"er or just one the many pigs you caught? And the pix looks like I'm wearing my I-gogs now! Those are some cool glasses aren't they! And by the way I had to shop vac my live well to get all the dead shad out! It was getting alittle stinky!
