Thinking about trying the stripers and whites at Whitney this weekend.Anyone know which boat ramps are open near to the dam area.I have heard it is about 10 feet low.

Coach,we are going down this morning for a cpl of days.I will let you no this afternoon, when we get back to the lake house.I would guess, that it would be on the north end they are always the best when low.We always use Juniper Cove ,because it has 1 low water ramp.as well as a high water ramp.If you use Loafer's be careful after you launch, till you get out pass the shallow water.

I will also ask my neighbor,a he lives there,as to the sandies,or stripers.I have just about given up on them this year.Golden algie, low water, no birds,no shad like in the past, ect. From what I have heard you have to go up the river to get to them, and I for one will not go past White Bluff when the lake is this low.The only people I have heard doing any good are all guides, and getting there shad from Aquila.Oh well crappie fishing in the marina, and black bass in my Cajun sounds like a plan today.
