I lost the fire tiger version which was even better.

Looks like those baits at bass pro shops in the dollar pile. Im not for sure who makes them

could be the fire tiger version was a fish catching machine. Most similiar Ive seen is a rapala or flicker shad. but the above bait is a plastic textured body not balsa wood like the rapala

Looks like a renegade from Wal-Mart. But could be and XPS from Bass Pro's..

Weekender i think your right. It is a renagade lure. Upon further research, it was made by Mann's Bait Company on behalf of Walmart. To bad, Walmart has pretty much trashed their sporting goods departments and no longer carry much of anything.

Yup the Walmart special

They were on sale last summer I'm thinking they were .99/ea. I have a bunch of them but even for white bass I can't entice a strike on them. I too, think it was in a box full of Renegades

This is the Wal-Mart lure. I have a few, but i know at the Grapevine BPS back there in one of the isles they have a bass buddy boat loaded with cheap baits. There are a bunch of these in it. The Fire Tiger version at BPS has a gold top with the black stripes on it fading down to silver.

it must be a lure to lure thing. Caught many many fish on the above and fire tiger version. Many more on the fire-tiger. Thanks for all the help
