How has the fishing been here lately? I haven't been in 2 weeks but will be there tomorrow. Is anyone catching a lot of hybrids?

Thanks,
Red

I was getting ready to ask that same question. I'am planning on going tomorrow afternoon, and all the reports have seemed to have disappeared. Thanks Gene

I agree. Send in the reports right away, I'm taking my pastor to Hubbard in the morning and I want to put him on some fish.

Are they surfacing early at Robertson Park, Jetty, Red Barn, where?

I don't trust a catfisherman who doesn't have shad scales on his hands or his reels...period.

I also Plan on going in the morning. If we all work together I am sure we can track these fish down and catch a bunch. smile smile Please try to be considerate of others fishing around you. Last Friday was what I called "Big Motor Friday"!! mad mad Everytime they came up someone would fire up the big motor to get on top of them. I have fished without a troling motor so I know it can be done!! Just motor upwind and drift into the fish. It takes a little longer to go around, but the fish will also stay up longer.

Good fishin to ya,

Ruben

P.S. Call me if you find some fish!! laugh laugh

Hey Ruben - Glad to see you are back on the water. My boat won't be ready until the end of next week.
Maybe you and John can try again Friday morning 29th? laugh

Hey guys just go south to the dam and watch for schooling fish. My Dad was in from NC on Wed. We caught at least 200 fish all on topwater (small clear torpedos!!) We fished around 10-15 boats and still had schools of fish to ourselves.

Get out early AM (6:30). The fun stops around 10:00 AM

Good Luck

Hey HunterRed, I'll be out there tomorrow too. We've fished by you and the FowlTroubles before. I run a white Nitro. See ya out there. DJTrippleR, my favorite last Wed. was the guy who thought his trolling motor was a bow ornament. I think everyone out there yelled at the knothead at least once.

Got out early today and there wasn't much. It was like that the whole day, they would just come up for a few seconds and then go back down. frown Only stayed till about 9:45 with only 10 keepers(mediums-magnums).

Good to see Old Birdeye and John Varner. smile

Thanks,
Red fish
