I do not know. How many is TOO many? Last time I counted them (about 1.5 years ago), I came up with 1327. But, I know I bought quite a few more in that time. I am like Gone Shakin', I have 39 that just flat CATCH fish. It is the ones that David Fritts calls his "Favorites". Those that we wouldn't sell for $1000 each. I did a test on his saying that "Of 100 CBs, you will get 5 to 10 that actualty work like they should. The others you can just give away." On the test, we discovered that 7 of the CBs caught more fish than all of the others combined. 22 could be worked with, but not quite gotten to that stage of production, but close. The other 71 could be given away. EXCEPT, that one of the 71 caught a couple of our bigger fish. Here is a link to the article if you want to look at it.

http://www.wmi.org/multi_boards/index.asp?ini=d:\asp_ini\mb_5.ini&begin=45539&how_many=20&no_nav=&prior=45539

Article 163, 164, 165 and 171 were the ones I put together. I guess I need to finish that series up. Maybe one day.

Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luk.

There is no such thing as too many. Remember, he who dies with the most stuff....wins.....

NOPE,

Cameron, I do NOT think I over analyze things. I NOTICE things, like when fishing a T, you notice the bass bite ONLY when the sun is peeking out from behind a cloud, or the wind changes direction or something like that. If you ever get a chance to fish with Ralhph Manns, you should. HE is WAY more analytical than I am, I am not even in the same league.

Of course, he was a Texas State biologist that helped start the ShareaLunker proram, so if you think he is over analytical, think about nNOT having the brood stock to try to produce trohpy bass. Or C&R and a lot of other things he helped start.

MOF, with a Ph.D. in economics, it is my nature to analyze things, notice trends, keep records and those kinds of things.

Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

OH, you can ask bottleneck2 if I analyze things too much. By analyzing what was going on or not going on, I made adjustments to catch big fish behind him. Even the 9-3 on Lewisville. LOL. Sorry Joel.

WHOOPS, forgot to explain that everyone knows what BS is (Bacholor ofr Science), MS stands for More of the Same and PhD stands for Piled Higher and Deeper. LOL.

too many never enough with one stipulation and a few guys commented on it

dont buy a few of everything buy the style and color you catch fish on time & time again and buy them every time you go shopping. Like if you shop at wal-mart buy 4 every time you grocery shop you'll never notice. Just as soon as you need some the company will discontinue the color. Ive got a crankbait i throw that has produced for over 10 years now i dont buy anything else but i buy them every time i see them

I keep about 6-8 main colors and try to stock big quantities of those. Got away from having 3 each of 50 colors to having bigger quantities of ones that work and that I throw.
