Bass 2 6 lbs 12 oz

The first looks like a 9 to 10. The second looks to be 11 to 12.

My wife caught a 10.7 off Fayette two weeks ago and I caught a 11.3 off Choke last year and both look just like the ones we caught.

i like to look at their mouth first. How big it is compared to the persons hand.> Then look at their belly and judge

The first fish could have both fists in his mouth. I look at the eyes.

Picture one is held close to your body, so what we see is what we get. Picture two of your BIL is the classic pose, long arm it so it looks bigger. I would have guessed #1 for this very reason, but would have been a little low on the weight. of your fish. Both very nice fish.

You can't judge by hands, mine so big they could make a 10 look like a six

1 is bigger. 1 id say around 9. 2 about 7.9.

Mine always looks bigger too! why is that? I always say mine is huge and its long but a third person always says that I just think it is.... that its in my head.
I say the way you hold it makes it look big but heck I guess even little ones look big in pictures right?

Bass #2 looks fatter but #1 looks longer. I'd go w/ #2.

#1 is almost 3 lbs bigger than #2. BIL does a great job of not really showing how far out he is holding the fish.

I caught one that could be fish 2's brother sister and it was 8.5.
