Well, not much to talk about, we caught a bunch of little sandies, and little hybrids, got too hot fast. We were off the water by 12:00. But Phillip did catch a nice cat. This was the result of trying to slab off the bottom. Fishing wasn't that great, but hey my new eagle 320c worked great, and my new camera didn't do too bad either. Sharon

That's a nice catfish - no telling what you'll catch when you're slabbing for sandbass. Is that twin trees point behind you?

I've been finding them mixed in with the little ones - usually deeper, sometimes suspended, not always on the bottom. I have had times when I can't get any thing but the smaller ones but lately especially when we find them in deeper water, the larger ones will be down under.

good luck

Sharon,

You may need a refresher course. It will not cost you much, only some fried crappie and some cold watermelon! laugh Nice catfish. Today may have been an off day on LL.

Don

Hey Don, Phillip and I are going to stay a couple of days at Cedar Creek next week, and I'll bring home some more slags, hopefully, the reports haven't been too good lately. But anytime I need to pack my basket with food you just let me know, the company is good, and the fishing is always a pleasure. Sharon
