any good bank fishing there,may go tomorrow becaus they are letting water out.hows the cat fishing ,any sugg on baits or tatics here.taking my boy,how dangerous is it

Only if they are letting water out of the main gates. If your talking about fishing by the mud gates maybe you can find one or two on your line. Also take a gas mask because its going to sink and I'm not talk about the fishing.

not much good bank access either- one side step big rock bank- other side flooded up into brush

It is an excellent place to catch decent channel cats, if you don't mind climbing down the rocks. Best bait I ever used there was large garden snails (crushed with a rock), followed by fresh shad, followed by everything else. We would cast out about 15 feet and let the weight settle to the bottom. You get hung up a lot, but we always went home with a stringer full of 3-6 pound channel cats.

It can be decent there when they are generating water.
Lots of exercise involved.
