I have a 7.3 diesle with a leaky rear main seal. Hopefully not much longer as I plan to put it in the shop next week. Wife got me a gasoline 3,000 psi power washer for dad's day. I think she is trying to tell me something.....The street in front of our house isn't looking good and I need to get those oil stains up. Neighbors are even asking me about it.
Any suggestions on what to use? Like mentioned above, I got a power washer. Anything else you recommend?

I've used that before, and it does get the black off with a little bit of scrubbing. But the only bad thing is that it too stains the concrete. I guess that stain is better than a black oil stain?
Wondering if there is something else. Not any of the stuff that Home Deopt carries. Alreay tried what they have. All krap!

Mix the acid with water to soften it...1 Part acid to 3 parts water, May take a couple times but it worked for me. Used to be in the powerwashing business. We had bigger heated machines that took it off with no scrubbing but I would think if you mix it and spray the acid on light enough that it wont run you should be ok if you scrub it a little too.

Prosoco makes a product called Oil and Grease remover that works great. I sell it here, but am currently out. There is a place in Fort Worth called SSI that probably has it. Might check with them. Number is (682)-647-1881 ask for Tiffany. Tell her Builders Equipment reffered you.

Try something like Gunk engine degreaser, the stuff you spray on a car engine to clean it. Soak in, wire brush, and then the power washer.

Muratic Acid works well in a lawn sprayer mixed with a little water. thats all you need and a brush to scrub. The power washer will also do a good job just by itself, but be sure not to blow up all the concrete it is easy to do.

You need to be careful with the muratic acid for all the obvious reasons but also ............ the muratic acid works against the lime in the concrete and mixed to strong or left on to long will eat away at the cement topping and leave you with a nice grainy/sandy area.
I do not recommend acid for this at all, used degreasers and let them set a while. Then pressure wash using a light pressure, not high pressure, and do not sprayed in one spot to long!!!!!!
Oh, and if you try a brush to scrub it DO NOT use a steel wire brush as some some steel particles will get into the pores of the concrete and cause rust spots to appear over time. Use a fiber brush or brass brush or ??? but NOT STEEL!!!

Problem with painting it is the oils must removed first, the slab properly cleaned and dry before painting. Even with that and the right paint it is a maintence issue with wear patterns and flakng.
I would not advise painting it.
