Headed to Sea Drift – San Antonio & Espiritu Santo Bays and was wondering how the recent rain will affect the bite? I am guessing that trout will probably move out of the bays due to the freshwater but the reds should still be in there? Thanks.

You can look at the water and tell really quick...fresh muddy water can wreck S.A. bay, but push all the fish into the back lakes and E.S. bay. Really depends on how hard the runoff was.

The runoff is gonna be CRAZY, moreso from the Guadalupe, but SA river too. Hopefully reds will be there but the trout are probably out.

I would plan to run east in ESB closer to POC. It's been windy too. Good chance S.A. is nasty.

Yeah, at the fish camp now, dead cows floating in from the Guadelupe river.....I'm heading east.
