Got on the lake at 7am looking for fish on east side of Robertson Park with no luck. Went south & found fish blowing up around the Heath boat ramp. Caught a few of those until they went down, then headed across toward the red barn & it was on!. Fish surfacing from 9:45 till 11:15, large schools of them. Caught good numbers of keepers, but released all fish. chrome rooster tail was the lure they wanted today. I was the only boat in 'em except for a fisherman on a jet ski. Water depth was deep--39 feet. No fish biting underneath the schoolies.

The guy on the jet ski was a retired guy. We had a nice visit on the water after the fish went down. He was a serious fisherman & did not run through the fish or try to cut me off. It's nice to fish around someone who knows what they are doing & can work the fish properly.

I forget his name, but he is a cool dude. I have talked to him many times. He can drift that jet ski in like a pro and is always courteous towards everyone. He also has a nice little Skeeter, so he has gopt to be a good guy right??

i bet he can get around in a hurry. had considered doing the same thing a while back. maybe they will put some on the market soon for anglers.

No that can not be Minh the Merciless! Cuz if it was he woulda call me immediately if the fishing was that HOT!! Right Minh??? Right??

The kitties are calling Tamp "Ming the Merciless" all right, after all the double digits kitties he been catching!! Minh is not retired yet but I believe his two jet fleas are retired since I havent seen them on the lake in two years??

Is there a decent afternoon bite on RH, or has most of the action been mornings???
