I was making my daily commute up the I-35 corridor as I normally do. As I was crossing Lake Lewisville this morning about 9a.m., I saw a thick white cloud….and it was not smoke. About 100 birds were working the west side of the bridge and the water was tore up.

The car behind me almost hit me when I slowed down to observe. The thought even crossed my mind to call in sick, turn and around and get the boat! Oh how it hurts to pass’em by. mad

I wanna go bad too but don't fly off bridge. I hear ya though I am glad I don't have to cross lake to get to work.

I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!

I'm with ya Catfish, I have to cross Stillhouse every morning on my way to 35. I start seeing fish on the surface and want to turn around and call in myself smile Can't help but slow down and look....

Rubberneckers. Now I will know what happened next time I'm sitting in traffic trying to get to and from work.

That's one thing that got me back into fishing, seeing the schools in the morning while I am driving to work. My wife swears I swerve towards the lake when I look at where the fish are. She really hates when I drive over the Texoma dam.

Saw them again this morning…not as many birds, but they were working a school of shad on the west side of the I-35 bridge…about mid bridge or just a hint to the north and about 600 yards off the bridge. That is the exact spot they were yesterday.

Someone go check that out in the morning and when I go over the bridge, I’ll honk 3 times!
