Hi Glad you let me in...
I will stay on line and try and learn how to get these cans out of my pocket. going on 30yrs now 2 originals a day.

Quit drinking when they took my pancreas (2/3rds of it)
Quit sugar when they told me I had diabetes
But sure would like to put the can down before my jaw is reworked.

Thankyou for letting me be a part of this.
Not much out there for copenhagen. Seems to be at least some options for smoking.
I got a mouthfull right now so step one its going out.
Help from there would be appreciated

Sunflower seeds and an occasional Smokey Mountain tobacco free snuff has worked well for me.

I quit a can a day habit over 5 years ago. The main thing I can tell you is, when you DO quit. Your going to have nicotine fits where you crave it. But they pass. Everyone passes. So if you can stay quit long enough to "survive" a couple of these, you can talk yourself down off the ledge with just knowing that it will pass if you ride it out.

Started dipping at about 13. Just turned 48. Quit about 9 years ago for 3 years. Bummed a dip while out dove hunting and it was back on. You can NEVER take another dip. It was my downfall.

Panhandle is right on about the cravings. To me, first 3 days is the worst, then it's mainly mental after that. I used cinnamon toothpicks (the really hot ones you order online), sunflower seeds, gum and Bacc-Off.

To me the key is be committed. I quit again last night. Not too hard yet, but I know it's coming. I figure I beat it once and I will again.

Hang tough!

And you do the same, brother tobacco-fighter ! ! ! I had the same feeling as you ("I quit, I'll do it again...") back in 1989 when I bought a pack of smokes after quit for 8 months - and it took me 20 years to quit again.... this time:

You know you can beat the devil - now go do it !
