going to LBJ for memorial day

me and the family are looking at renting a cabin over memorial day weekend, anyone have any advice on where to go during the day (little kids) any advice will be greatly appreciated.
we will have a boat also

thanks fishincoach, but was looking more for some ideas on the lake of where to fish during the day. i know you have posted several good reports for the lake but if i recall correctly they were all at night.

Fishing that lake on the weekends during the day is tough with all the wakeboard boats that motor up and down, all day long...

we are thinking the kingsland area, but maybe it wont be a good idea with the wakeboarders, we dont want to copete for space we just want to relax. thanks for the posts

There are coves down river from you on the right hand side, some large ones that I've caught crappie in. Sorry, can't describe them, but its about 5-10 minute boat ride from kingsland. I think you'll be protected in those areas, just other fisherman.
