Got a week off coming up 2nd week of June. Thinking of going to Falcon. Can you all give me some names of some guides to contact to see if there are any openings for a day trip and to see if it would even be a good time to go.
Thanks.

Charlie Haralson. Hands down the best guide on the lake.

Whoever you use make sure they stay in American waters. My buddy was there a couple weeks back and his party was held up by 2 guys in a white boat with AR15's. They were catching fish and the boat was on them before they knew it. They were on the Mexican side. Finished the remaining 2 days of the trip on the American side with no other issues.

I just called Charlie to book a trip in July. Asked him how the fishing was today, and he said I wouldn't believe him. I said try me. They were only 2 min from the Zapata boat ramp b/c of a storm system and their top 5 were all over 10 lbs w/ the biggest a 13.13. Their next 5 would go over 45 lbs. He said the lake is just full of surprises.

Can't wait. Fishing with Charlie in June and July. Our last trip was off the charts and I'm betting the next ones will be, too!
