JR Howard, AKA Txwhitetail, just had knee surgery to replace his ACL and to repair meniscus tears, and will be off the water for awhile. JR is one of the finest guides on Amistad, and is a man of integrity, very friendly, polite, is very knowledgeable about bass fishing. He always gives great advice (on and off the forum), and can straight up catch fish. He is gonna be missed out here in West Texas on the tournament trails while he recovers, so I just wanted to post a get well note so everyone can send their best wishes to him. He's on here quite often so if you would care to send a message, I'm sure he would really be thankful.
