2 questions.

Would you go with a 6 or 8 foot power pole?

Also, who has the best prices on the power poles?

I don't have one...YET, but I would go with the 8'. I noticed Tackle Warehouse has the 8 footer for 1499.

You might check with Rockwall Marine and see what Tommy will let you have one for.

I have two and definitely get the 8 foot Pro model. I won't quote his prices for him, but Tommy and Rockwall Marine took care of me and were more than fair on price. Family feel to the service, too. thumb

Got 2 8ft pro models. Don't get the model below the pro, it wont hold up. Fun-n-sun Hurst is real fair.

Taking 5 to the weigh-in occurs when opportunity meets successful execution of one's preparation.

I wish I had one that goes deeper than 8 feet! Sometimes I want to hold off a channel rather than in shallower water. It is hard, when the wind is really blowing, to hold on the edge of a drop.
