 TPWD to scrutinize SL #500

Looks like TPWD will be taking a cue from some of the big money bass tournaments. HERE'S the press release from this morning. Long story short, SL #500 will be X-rayed and the angler will have to pass a polygraph test to receive the prize. A great idea in my book.

That has been proven, recently. The honest people are the only ones that should be concerned about taking one...heck it might ruin your whole reputation.

I can say from experience that I took a lie detector test when I was 15 yrs old trying to get a job at Minyards Foods. I did not lie about anything, but was scared to death as well (maybe I was scared because I was so young?). Needless to say, I didn't get the job. They tried to tell me that I was lying about where I freakin lived!!

Look, people get upset about taking lie detector test. Here is the deal though... no one is going to force you to turn in this fish. If you dont like the rules, set her back in the water and go on about your day.
Having rules like this and using things like lie detectors is simply an attempt to have an honest capture of this fish be the winner. I dont think anyone is claiming this is perfect, but it is a realistic plan of action for this situation.
