I was thinking about braving the cold this afternoon and running jugs on Waco. I was gonna let them soak overnight and get them in the morning, but I'm not sure if it'll be worth it after this big northern moved in. So my questions.
How is catfishing right after the drastic weather change? Also will the cats still be somewhat shallow? Trying to figure out a depth to target.
Thanks in advance hope I get some answers
Daniel

I'll be out there tomorrow working shallow and deep water. I like to anchor on top of a drop off with shallow timber about 50' away to one side and the channel on the other side and cast everywhere.

They are forcasting 25-35 winds through tomorrow. I was thinking about launching at flatrock and setting jugs there this afternoon. I wonder how rough it will be.

Uhhh, Tom, you think it's a little rough to be out here... Uhhh, Tom, You think we should put on those lifejacket thingy's.... Uhhh, Tom.... thought you said you didn't need a lifejacket 'cuz you could swim thru a Hurricane... Tom... Sorry if this comes across being crude & heartless, Yes... it Sux that somebody drowned & thier family has to deal with the death of a loved 1, but I have very little compassion for stupidity. 66yr old Trial Lawyer from Ft Worth & Grad student from Baylor Law School, Won the election on Mar 2 for Tarrant county District Judge... I can name 3 fatal errors just by reading the news article. Proves that you can graduate law school, be a long time lawyer, elected politician and 66yrs old & still NOT have any common sense... When it's too rough for the rescue boats... here's your sign. When the properly geared & protected Trained PROFESSIONAL Rescue Divers can only withstand 15min in the water... here's your sign. Wonder what that sign looks like? PUT ON YOUR FREAKING LIFEJACKET! The word "LIFE" wasn't assigned to it by mere consequence!

I didn't end up going. I went to the ramp before hooking up the boat to see how rough it was. Wow 35 mph winds I decided it was smarter to stay at home and watch some basketball
