Do you guys have any suggestions on how to take a pic of yourself with a quality fish when you are fishing by yourself?

Most guys use the "lay it on the desk next to a rod or a measuring board" technique to prove its size. Not sure as far as getting you in the pic

Pretty much every digital camera has a self-timer feature that will let you get some good shots when you don't have someone to take the pics. On most cameras, it is really easy to set up. Just fiddle with it for a few minutes and you'll figure it out in no time.

If you don't have a tripod to set the camera on, just find any flat surface that is elevated.

They have those bendable tripods that you can set or wrap around things.

+1 You can wrap them around almost anything. Works great with fishing and hunting.

I usually put mine on self-timer and put it in the boat seat if I am by myself. I may have to get one of those tripods.
