Yes, illegal in Texas but these were caught in Arkansas from what I read.

man those were some nice crappy...would have been so darn good dinner! Glad they let that bass go that was a really nice looking fish

yo-yo's can be very affective where legal. They are legal in Oklahoma where my Dad lives. He doesn't use them but I've been on the water while people are running them. I have mixed opinions with them because they DO catch fish but the guy that I saw running them completely blocked off a cove in a creek when they strung them off. They did not have individual yo-yo's set on limbs like the man in the video does. The people I saw had a line run from tree to tree that were 50-100 feet apart. They'd have 20-30 yo-yo's on each line.
