I believe You have been given alot of good choices here. I think I would probably try Bob Sandlin or Winnsborow however Caddo would be a trip You would never forget no matter what kind of Fishing. Awesome Lake.

Houston County Lake is Awesome in the spring. Sight fishing in clear water. You can fish 30yds out for a fish that's 6ft deep & watch their every move. Although all of the nominations above can provide great spring fishing.

Lake Palestine and Lake Tyler are both GREAT lakes in East Texas. The chance of a 8-10lber is always there at these lakes!

Lake O the Pines or Caddo, If you go to Caddo, best go with a GPS, easy to get lost on Caddo.

I just want to take a minute and thank all you Lone Star boys for trying to help a neighbor from Arkansas --- You know we gotta stick together ...You have been very helpful. I am new here and am impressed with the knowledge and willingness to help folks. I appreciate it.

I would recommend Toledo Bend...unless there's a big tourney you dont have too worry about the lake being crowded..you can always get away from people..and you shouldn't have too much trouble finding the fish that time of year..
