I went to LBJ on Monday with the intentions of learning more about shakey heading and drop shotting but after an hour of no bites I picked up my jig and WOW... unbelivable day, 4 fish 18lbs. 4 oz.

My big fish weighed 9lbs. followed by a 4.14, 2.14, and a 1.8. All were caught on a jig in 4 to 6 fwwt of water, surface temp was 56 degrees.

HotSauce fixed my pics so they are easier to see, Thanks again!

Man, I fished LBJ Saturday in club tournament and it stunk. We had 8 teams and only 6 or 5 guys had fish. My partner and I wore the jig out. All we could bit on was a 4" camo worm.

Personally, I hate LBJ. Never caught more than a couple keepers. Plus I get sick of fishing docks. I know there are good fish like yours. A guy in our club caught a 10 pounder in tournament a year or so ago.

Nice bag though, glad somebody owned LBJ.

Not sure why they wanted it but thats all I could catch fish on. I think I will just fish in the nastiest weather possible from now on, it was miserable but so much fun, wish I could do it in a tournament. Thanks for the compliments I am proud and more confident again with that technique.
