The football jig just got a rattlin new upgrade and a rockin new head design! Rattle Head Baits of Jonesborough, TN has incorporated its signature patented rattling hook enclosed in a brass chamber into the innovative head design of its new football jig. And, fish have never heard, seen, or felt anything like it before!
Underwater sound tests have proven that the sound transmitted by the patented rattling hook assembly creates a totally different sound than traditional rattles. Thus, the slightest movement of the hook on the Rattle Head Football Jig, caused by either an angler shaking the jig or the movement of a trailer, causes the hook to vibrate and to strike the sides of the surrounding brass chamber, producing an unique noise. The side-to-side action of the hook also allows a trailer additional free movement and helps keep game fish hooked! Whats more, the unique head design of the Rattle Head Football jig allows the angler to control the presentation of the jig. When dragged slowly on the bottom on tight line, the Rattle Head Football jig will lie down. Then, when hopped on slack line, it will stand at a 45 angle, making the pinchers of a craw trailer rise. Tighten the line, and the jig will again lie down. This combination of features allows the Rattle Head Football Jig to generate more strikes, particularly from pressured fish, who have become conditioned to or have already heard, seen, and felt all the other conventional football jigs before.
Thus, Rattle Head Baits has added two functional differences to the original football jig design that makes this already effective lure even more advantageous. It provides anglers with the total package, allowing anglers to not only attract more fish, but hook em and keep em hooked, resulting in more fish in the boat.
