 Need your help for a long shot

Ok, probably not the right area to post this but here goes. Back in the early 70's I had a very good friend of mine who lived in Wichita kansas. He moved to Lewisville Tx. back then. His name is Ron Oaks and his wife at the time was cheryl. So now that i am living here close to Lewisville I figured I would to post this request here, as my friend Ron was an avid fisherman, mainly catfish, but we did do some bass fishing. I already tried the internet only to find a vacant house. So i am still searching for my long lost friend. He is around 60 yrs. old, about 6 ft. tall, and was a machinist. He was in a machine shop right after he moved to Texas. if anyone who reads this and happens to know Ron, Please PM me. Thank you very much.

Thank you buzzfrog. It is a long shot for sure trying to find a person thru the TFF. But since he at least use to be a very avid fisherman this just seemed like a good start since I had no luck on the internet. Surely one fisherman might know him.

Try the machinists Union. Also his old employer in Kansas (if you know) about requests for references. Church affiliations, etc.

(972) 434-1780 I think that was the right Ron Oaks but the phone number now belongs to some business. I was so sure that with so many fishermen in the TFF that one of them would read this and know Ron. But my quest is still ongong and hopefully I will find my lost friend again. thanks everyone.

 Don't give up, buddy. I found a similar long lost fishing buddy through the TFF, but it took a couple days. I would suggest bumping the thread again on Monday, as Fridays/weekends can be a little slow here. Lots of us are hunting and fishing during those times.
