I cant have 13 rods in the box, never have tried it with 13 rods out but its just something I cant bring myself to try!
I just counted my rods the other day. Yep,13. I just took one of them out.

Don't believe in none of it, I do believe in God's blessings though. Just being on the lake is a blessing to me catchin fish is icing on the cake. When I fish a tourny the first thing I do when I back the boat off the trailer is fill the livewell and get the net ready. I guess you call that faith.

I don't get the banana thing either. And I'm not superstitious, but I have found a ritual that works pretty good when everything else fails.....It's the "Here Fishy...Fishy...Fishy" call. Y'all are probably laughing at the thought of a grown man standing on the front of the boat calling out "Here Fishy....Fishy....Fishy", but I've seen it work so many times for my wife, I can't not try it!!

Yall are crazy. If I'm by myself, I get the net out and ready to use. The measuring board is drilled onto the cooler lid, and I'll take anything to the lake with me, including bananas. I also always want to catch a fish on the first cast, I always try to. But unlike most, I don't believe in superstitions, just blessings. When I fished with David Dudley, he taught me a lot about the mental aspect of fishing, and that has helped a BUNCH.

Without a doubt, everyone in the our club, self included, has always had a horrible day when we have caught a fish on our first cast. The one guy will throw his lure in the water, then immediately reel it in to get his first cast out of the way. ha ha ha

net stays away until the first fish is on. after that its like a circus in the boat, rods everywhere plastics all over the place crank baits stuck to the side of the shoe life jackets in the seats glove box open and stuff comming out clippers on the seat, under the seaton the seat, in the water, but NEVER in the clipper holder.
thats how our day of fishing goes... ME TOO!! I can't have the net out on the deck. It is almost like Ruth calling his shot. If I forget to put it up I will look at my partner and say "we will catch one after I put this net up". Usually within a cast or two we can put one in the boat. Weird how that works! LOL!
