We spent a week with Diane and Carl at Anglers. The service, food, rooms, security is excellent. They are really there for their customers. The staff is amazing and go the extra mile to see customers are satisfied. They even offer a dog walk service for folks like us who can't seem to leave our little guys at home. Our yorkies, Antonio and charger got spoiled daily and they had a great time as we did. I strongly urge all of you to give Anglers a call. Their food is oustanding, we hardly left the place and felt good at night that everything would still be in boats. Awesome. thanks to diane and Carl and their wonderful staff for making our week oustanding. The only thing they didn't take care of was the wind. LOL>Thanks to all.

Falconer, what a cute yorkie. Charger is rotten, we raised him, he is a yorkshire terrier and Antonio is adopted. We got Antonio from the yorkie rescue in San Antonio and he is a silky terrier.
Both great dogs, except Charger(named after our bass boat) is so bad, he thinks he can whip 'em all, large or small. LOL
Would love to come to Falcon, we thought about doing just that, but after being gone a week, we anxious to get back to the big city of yantis.

LOL. Carl does work with his deer and turkeys. They come up to back of the kitchen building every night and he feed them all.
I wanted to send him a e mail, but their biz card has none listed? anybody know if they have e mail? Also heard today that Dianne's dad had a stroke Sunday. Have not heard how he is doing.

Connie, our email is anglerslodge1@yahoo.com or dianne@theanglerslodge.com . That was my dad that was in the hospital. Had a stent put in his heart. 94% blockage in one, 64% in another. Everything is fine and he is at home now. Just got home myself from spending the week taking care of him and mom. Thank you all for your nice compliments. We do try ! Give Antonio and Charger a hug for me ! Ruby Lee says "Woof" !

Dang Carl, glad everything turned out O.K. with your Dad.

Good thing they caught it now though. Sounds like it was a blessing in disguise.

Yessir, I do agree. No thanks to that quack doc in the box that told my mom he could go in a private vehicle versus EMS. Had to advise this person that both arms numb and heavy pressure in the chest equals big problems. Needless to say I have another M.D. not very happy with me since we had our little chat about that subject. Anyway, hard part now is trying to keep him from doing things. He is one of those that can't sit still, gotta be doing something. They put him on no lifting over 10 lbs. for a week. Gonna be a challenge for him AND my mom . LOL. The good lord was watching over him, no doubt. I saw the pictures of the procedure from Dr. Donovan, his cardiologists that did the procedure. He was VERY lucky. The part that was blocked (bottom of the heart) was getting maybe a drop of blood per minute (94% block). The 64% is in the upper right heart. He was well on his way to a MI (heart attack).

Connie,

Dianne and I thoroughly enjoyed having the "Rally" bunch here. It is always a pleasure , and nothing short of a hoot listening to all of the escapades. Can't wait until next year !
