Al,
Water looks to be short of a foot high. They had 10 gates open yesterday. Haven't checked gate status today. Water is at the top of the boatramp in my backyard. Was real muddy after the filling but is starting to clear up in my channel. Had a friend with a bunch of carp in the shallows behind his place. Have seen a bunch of bait working the vegetation. I threw out a few handfuls of range cubes in 5 ft of water on Mon and 10 min later caught over 300 shad in about 3 casts of net. Catfishing was slow on Mon. Gonna try again tomorrow. Haven't seen the birds working the Richland Arm yet. Royce may have better info. Good luck.

Water is 1' over Pool Level and there were 10-12 Gates open this am. Water has come up 3' this week and looks like we'll have the Gates open for some time. Fished everyday this week except Tuesday and we're whacking them pretty good. Wednesday & Today was awesome with FOG one day and a strong North Wind today. Caught over 100 Hybrids combined the two days with only about 5 or 6 Legal fish each day. LOTS of 17 " Fish! smile Sandies are in with the Hybrids with Magnums Wednesday and 12" fish today. All on slabs, but Sassys or Rat-L-Traps with work.

I guanrantee it will change a bit tomorrow without the Cloudcover and Wind, and a high barometer. Still.....hope they will bite just half as good as it's been and we'll still get a box full!

Got a boat open on Monday & Tuesday of next week. Give us a call and Let's Go Catchin'!

Looks like they have just opened up all 24 Gates with the flow going from 900 CFS to over 13,000 CFS. Bardwell and Navarro Mills are over Pool and the Creeks are full so appears they're having to manage it closely. Trinity River is at flood stage also. smile

WONDERFUL to have a problem of toooo much water! smile

Stumpjumper, man I lost my phone last spring at RC and your number with it. I think the Hybrids made some long distance calls on it before I got it turned off. If you see us out there stop by and say "Howdy".

Beautiful day on the water, tough one for us on the fish. We ended up with 40+ and one under size 17" hybrid. I caught two shad that were nice sized..LOL There were few boats on the main part of the lake. Saw Bob early but no one else I recognized. I talked to Mark early at marina but didn't see him all day. He most have had the fish cornered somewhere. I'm sure he limited out...he always does. That's why we call him the "Fish Magnut"!! We enjoyed the day and did a little exploring later in the day. But heck thta's why they call it "fishing" not "catching". Everything was caught on the Bryon Nolan's "RC Special", Silver Halo-graph 180's. I threw a sassy at them but no takers.

Was out with my daughter late morning early afternoon. Saw 2 Bay Stealth's one was Mark's....other one must have been Al!

Tough day for fishing but gorgeous day to be on the lake. We threw about 12 in the cooler.

Then cutting grass, putting rye down and trying to get boat high enough in the boathouse to miss the waves heading this way!

Will be out early am...hopefully a bit calmer.
