I recently got a new to me boat. I have a 79 Glasstron Bassboat with 85hp Evinrude I am selling to my brother and recently bought this its a 98 Triton TR17 was a 1 owner kept in storage he only had it on the lake 5 times. He started it and ran it every month but I had carbs rebuilt , water pump replaced, lower serviced, new plugs to make sure it was lake ready. Also removed 98 model johnson 24 v and added the MinnKota 70# a few days ago. Its in show room new conditon. Carpet everything including butter soft seat just like new I know its not a 50000.00 Ranger but for a 17 ft boat with a 115 evinrude it runs perfect and handles the water great. Super smooth compared to my 79 glastron cutting through the water. It will hit 52mph with just me in it so plenty fast. Anyway for a 98 I think its a excellent boat. I added a stereo system I never use. wife though it needed one however we used it one time last 3 times to the lake, added a 3 bank charging systen and waterproof plug port to plug extension cord to boat, a couple 12v power points and best addition 2 recessed courtesy lights for night fishing so i can see to tie my knots...

Thank you I think i am keeping her smile I sometimes wish I found a 20 21 footer or a boat with a 150 or 200hp motor but it fits my needs. And I made a deal with the wife next boat will be for the family a pontoon like she wanted. That way while i am fishing the tight spots her and the kiddos can enjoy a pontoon. I have 4 boys so a bass boat with limited space always is challenging. Everyone want to go out but there is limited space. Anyway thats about to be fixed with the pontoon.
