Raised 17 reds all over 34 inches at the end of the jetties in east Galveston. Tagged and bagged a 38 to go on the wall. Fishing bottom with big shad

very cool. I am headed back down there in a few weeks. We caught some nice bull reds in the same area in July. We can't wait to be back down there

I took the lines out 7 times at McFaddin and pulled in 6 last sunday going to the surf close to crystal this weekend

we were using 7 foot boat rods with 30 lb test mono 2 ounce slip sinker above a swivel and 1 to 2 foot liter with #4 hooks man when they hit it they INHALE

thats cool i just put 20# on mine with 18" liters thanks going to surf side sunday want a big red been catching little ones 12" to 16" but no keepers but they are fun
