Gonna be there this weekend and hoping to snag a few reds. Was there last weekend and didn't have much luck. Only a couple that weren't keepers.

August 8th, there were 6 of us that decked ~100 bullreds.
Last weekend there were 16-17 yakkers that decked close to ~200 bullreds.

Most reds were caught in the mudline. Some were caught at the color change. Sharks were working the color change. Reports are on TKF.

There will be a large group saturday 1/2 mile east of the barricades.

Wow. Send me directions. lol.
Can you launch a tunnel hull boat anywhere around there?
BTW, it has been yrs. since I've been down there, but is the ramp still there at High Island bridge. And, more importantly, if so, is it in good condition?

LOL LRS, Im blonde...so maybe thats part of the problem. I enjoyed those cabins sooooooo much. They were so nice to come to after a hot day on the beach. Although, Ive cooked bacon and eggs on the beach and loved it, it was nice to have a stove to cook on too!!! To have a nice shower at the end of the night was the best!!! So, you got me on that one! smile ~Angel~

Over the past 5 years, I have spent many a fine weekend at those cabins.
Hopefully they will rebuild, it's just not the same w/o those cabins.

Hey Fishon & Burnt orange red,

thank ya'll for them links ......they are very very helpful
looks like I headin in for a two tide instead of a four tide, of which its no problem neither, i just preferred the four tide. I'll be headin there tomorrow morning and staying for a few days. If any of you guys are out there I'll be in an old beat up black GMC truck with the longhorn logo on the rear window. And most definitley will bring back some pics too. Wish me luck.
Tight lines !!!!
