corn, best bait there is.. del monte right outta the can. Keep it in the cooler so it doesn't get mushy and stays on the hook

Try a small crappie jig under a cork. Then very lightly pop it toward you. Pause briefly and they will usually hit before the jig becomes stationary.

We have been killing them with 1/32 ounce jigs tipped with Crappie Candy Nibbles.
We use the yellow nibbles under a cork fishing about two foot deep.
We catch a bucket full at Loy Lake each time we go.
Deadly.
