Think T-woks worth the trip with basschamps there tomorrow? And does anyone know if they're limited to launching strictly from Holiday or able to launch from anywhere. Also, how far/bad is the run from Kenny's landing to the holiday humps, as I assume that's the closest ramp to the humps with Holiday marina out of the picture?
Thanks, Paul Day

Put in at the state park and you can run to the Holiday humps easy enough..

Use the public ramp at the dam.

Depends on where you are coming from as well. The best ramp is the State Park...and thats an easy ride to the Holiday Humps.

Well I called cedar cove and discovered that they're still open so I'm curious if anyone's seeing surfacing fish around that side of the lake (sun point area) or should I just head to the humps where 300+ bass boats will have been continuisly blowing thought the area. And regarding the state park, can you get in and launch before 6am?

Well we didn't do too well, basschamps was out there but didn't really pose much of a problem, we hit sun point, the holiday humps area and a small boat show near the east end of the dam. Caught two barely legal hybrids there and that was it. First trip to the lake and seein as theyve been up like clockwork on cedar creek I was surprised not to find any surfacing fish anywhere.

I fished it also and did not do well. What a difference a week makes. I was out last week-end and caught fish all morning. This week-end, the water felt alot warmer. Looks like summer pattern is setting in.
