Jackpotters usually arent on the lake everyday.
I myself have fished Media tournys that come to Bob Sandlin. Even if I'm not on fish I do just because I like the comp. I fished a CAST northeast region tourney there this year and didn't win anything. I Fished the whole year with the ARK-Tex region but just that one tourney from the NE. The tourney director liked it because he gets more money the more ppl that show up.

This is the first time I have heard anyone bash Jackpotters.LOL

Just about every tourney you fish is going to have jackpotters fishing it. Just try and fish to the best of your ability.

I definately don't have a problem with jackpotters. I am one every now and then. Would be one today on Cedar Creek in the Caba tourney if I didn't have to work. I look at it like this. More money for the taking. I am confident no matter where I am fishing, if I put enough time in practicing, that I can catch fish where ever I go. I like to try different lakes. I get my rear end handed to me just as much as I catch fish on new lakes. Heck, I get it handed to me on CC sometimes and I live here. These guys that are jackpotting could be guys that just found out about the club. This may be the time of year when they can catch fish better and want to come out and see how the atmosphere of the club is. It's a confidence thing. They very well could be members for good now that they have won some money. If I was looking at fishing a new tourney series or join a club, I would like to see how the guys are that I would be hanging with for a year or two or three. I enjoy talking to people. I have learned alot of things from just shooting the breeze with guys at weigh in. Have made some good friends doing it also.

Just remember, when you are tourney fishing, you are fishing against the fish not the anglers.

You are foolish if you dont fish all the tournaments on your "local" lake. Someone is always going to know a lake better than you wherever you go.

Give it up dude, i know what you are saying and most of the guys will bash you for bringing it up. The point is it is a club tourney and it is for points and money for club memebers. In my if the club as a whole does not want outsiders they should make everyone pay for two tourney up front. No matter what most of the guys say on this forum it is all about TIME ON THE WATER. There is no other thing at a club level that is better. So I am ready to take my bashing from the crowd for sticking up for this guy.

Would it make you feel better if they tied one arm behind their back, tied there shoe laces together, and unplugged the trolling motor. Who cares! I personally would like fishing tournies against guides and jackpotters if you win you should feel better about yourself. Time on the water and confidence is everything. Get over it and fish the lakes your club fishes more often and you then might have the confidence to fish against anyone.

I work everyother weekend so there is no way i can fish any trail for points. I fish which ones i can win money in, so i guess im a jackpotter. But what you dont understand is some of us have to be. Plus you cant turn away to law abiding, money paying contestants, thats called unfair.

are you talking about a club tourny or a tounament trail? if they pay there entry and membership then who cares, or do you think that only the folks that fish the 1st touny of the year can fish the rest, and not allow any new membership during the season. just curious.

GO JACKPOTTERS

Seriously? Would you even be bitchin about it if you had won? I guess I can kind of see your beef if this was a club tournament because they are not opens but $1100 is quite a big payout for a club tournament. If it was a trail, they are open to the public and jackpotters are just part of the game. In my opinion you should spend less time griping about who you got BEAT by and more time trying to correct the reason you lost.
