Early morning, look for cover in the water such as grass, rocks or downed logs. Throw something that looks like shad. That should do the trick.

Snag, that is what I am saying. Look for any of these cover features in the water, early morning and start chunking. I have done this up and down the southside and had luck.

Just go hit up any part of the lake and look for those tell tell signs.

You will be surprised with the bass population in that lake.

Plus, its much more rewarding if you learn something on your own adventures rather than fishing "fished out" spots.

Wreck 'em

If you don't mind getting run off as soon as they see you a good starting point is by the marina...caught some nice fish there and they are getting pretty tired of telling me to leave..you got to know when to go!!

Nice to have you at the Vine but I have found that the fish out there DO NOT like the Texas Longhorns. Did you catch fish?

Fish may not like Longhorns(I never had that problem... Hook 'Em). However, I will tell you what does like Longhorns... Bowl Games, You see, Texas Wins them all! LOL rolfmao

Colt McCoy treats deer like OU... he dominates them

Since bassitup brought this one back I just now saw the post that Venoism had about my Red Raiders...I could have a rebutal about this and that but this is a fishing forum and I know this Red Raider can get that done on the Vine.

I will add that I am picking the Longhorns to win it all this year and if they don't then that is a damn shame!

As far as fishing at the Vine you have to put in your time and effort to be rewarded. Most of us have done this on here and that is why we catch fish...listen to the what the boys are telling you and you will catch fish...
