i almost hate to ask... but what is a "2 season" boat?? is that a new marketing description?? and i live in wisconsin we got four seasons. one of which i stay inside and watch the morons on the news go boating in their trucks for ice fishing. 15 to 20 idiots each year end up have to go diving for their vehicles when the ice starts melting.

I simply meant a boat that someone may use for both fishing and hunting.... hence 2 season...

ahhh i see you mean a duck boat and fishing boat. lots of folks up here in WI own those grizzly trackers for just that purpose.

That would all depend on where your two seasons would be, and what you're planning on doing in them. Way too broad a statement, way too little details.

If it doesn't have to be a gorgeous boat, I think a long, wide semi-V, aluminum boat is great. If a tunnel-hull is available, even better. I've fished this boat in Galveston Bay, Lakes and stumpy backwater bayous. It's rough in white-capped water, and is just not as comfortable as a Deep-V, and other cushy rides, but it floats in 12 inches of water.

This boat is five years old and plain. Now, you can find boats like this already wrapped in camo.

i am not certain what advantage camo gives but up here in wisconsin i got ducks constantly doing landings and take offs right next to my boat and its not camoed. once one duck lands more usually do. can also walk right up to canadian geese and grab em if you care to fight em.

im prolly a total noob when it comes to duck and geese issues, but i have never seen a purpose to camo or even hiding out. seems to me from what i have seen of duck behaviour all you really need is a pretty good decoy to lure the first couple in close...

i have even driven the boat up to wild feeding ducks have em fly off then return and start eating again. i would think a nice bow and arrow setup and just be real quiet without using a gun might collect a few easier. dunno tho im not a duck hunter.
