I saw the forecast for north texas and there saying it will be windy Wednesday through Sunday! It's hard to fish with all this wind. Have you guys also noticed how windy it's been lately?

The wind does keep me from taking the boat out, but it sure won't stop me from fishing when I want to go fishing. I can still catch fish from the bank and not have to worry about the wind unless it starts blowing my hat away.

The wind has been brutal this year - but don't let it keep you off the lake too much ;-)

Yeah i experienced some wind out on Pat Cleburne this past Sunday and it was pretty windy in the middle of the lake. Didnt even want to get the boat up on plane cause when i did it was way to rough. Me and the wife went into one of the little slues of the lake where the wind wasnt nearly as bad and fished.

I know I`ve had enough of the wind.You know about the time it stops blowing it will be 100 degrees outside and we`ll be begging for some wind.............

Wind what wind? It was dead calm on Lewisville last Sunday. LOL

I've learned to LOVE the wind!

I fish from the bank, but have had my best days this year fishing a point with 20mph winds in my face.

Last week, caught 17 sandies, 18 lmb on Wed in the wind and 36 sandies, 22 lmb on Thurs in the wind. Also had a few carp and buffalo in there as well. The wind pushed shad onto the point and the bass were there feasting all day!

I did get lots of backlashes, including one I spent 30 min trying to get out before I got fed up and cut 1/2 my spool out, but it was worth it to get almost 100 fish in 2 days from one spot!

I also like the wind cause it keeps the bugs off!

Its common for the wind to blow in the spring. Wait until the temps get in the 90's and 100's and the wind quits. That will be worse.

The wind is your friend. Unless of course it sinks your boat.
