went fishing this morning....with BJ Fowler ...we caught around 30 in just a few hours action was not fast but did manage to get 23 keepers for a fry...caught them in 20 ft of water on a main lake hump...with the one and only ..."old Ugly" white and silver were the colors we used...caught two little cats also...

fished hubbard today noon to four. had to leave then, grandson had little league. caught a ton of small sandies bout 100 yards out from the rock jetties. 22 to 28 feet. only 6 keepers. 6 or 7 other boats about the same. bunch of nice folks out today. lots of chit chat, fishing stories and joking around. beats working. most caught on green slabs jigging slow off of bottom, real light bite, then set hook, lot of hits on the way down.
