I have owned and operated a body shop for over twenty five years. State Farm is the best company I deal with. USAA is a close second. I have my home, five autos, boats, travel trailer, and even some life ins. with State Farm. I have had numerous claims over the years and have been very pleased with the results. Insurance coverage has a lot to do with your agent and the adjuster working with the repair shop. Some of the smaller companies are harder to deal with because they use independent adjusters. They want to work for the company again so they write very tight estimates. The shop you choose for the repairs can also help get your claim properly handled. Choose a good shop and everything should go smoother.

progressive was the only insurance company that I could find that would insure a "Bullet". The other companies said they would not insure a boat capable of running well over 80 mph.

I have my boat insured with Bob at Worldwide Marine. He is the best Insurance agent there is for boats. He only insures boats and is a avid angler just like us. He saved me a ton of money and took the time to explain everything to me. If you want beter coverage and want to save some money he is the man. Here is a link to him. Worldwide Marine Insurance

Progressive and I have had no claims. I also have a ZERO deductible due to not having any claims. I sold it to myself, but I sell boat insurance for other companies as well.

I did not know USAA stop insureing boats. They still carry my policy on my 2003 TR21 Triton, along with my house and autos. I've bee with them for 40 years, guess I'm a oldfart.

Nationwide as I have everything else with them. I have been pleased with price and rules on tournaments and part-time guiding.

One thing you guys need to be aware of is the TYPE of policy you are purchasing... Progressive is one of the few that offers TOTAL REPLACEMENT COVERAGE....that is not Agreed Value or Actual Cash Value....Thats TOTAL replacement at time of loss...Have any questions or want a quote? www.holder-insurance.com I am a fisherman and understand your concerns...

Progressive,,,,,just changed over from Foremost. Heck of a better package at the same rate. Plus my Farm Bureau agent carries the Progressive so I shouldn't have any problems if there is ever a claim. +1 on the Farm Bureau they have always made sure everything went well for me
