I love Crappie. But if I had them available. Walleye, no comparison. Crappie are considered a trash fish by many Northerners because of the taste difference.

I have had walleye in Minnesota and it was great if a little hard to clean, but I still prefer crappie fresh caught and fried,I think if we had walleye down here I might change my mind though,it has a sweeter taste, plus the walleye I had was fried in butter and that is something I have never tried with crappie as I am already to fat.

Crappie and walleye, but walleye is not available here in Texas. Northern pike is good also, but still not here in Texas.

I had my first Walleye last night. At the restaurant in the Bass Pro Shop in Garland. Tried it because of all the people on here saying it was good. They were right, it is a good fish.

Walleye when I live in Kansas But now, bass has to be my favorite. A few 12" - 14" bass will do me right every time. I would have to say talapia also, its just that I have never caught them myself. But I LOVE the tortilla crusted talapia that we get at Costco.

Walleye, saugeye, and sauger. Hands down my favorite. Crappie and bluegill are locked up as my second favorite. Next is a good ol' muddy catfish.

I've gotten into some big bluegill before best fish I've ever had. Only problem is you got to have a lot of them to make a meal. My second favorite is crappie.
