I trust ya man. Night Fishing at PK has is usually pretty good. I just have to remember the flashlight. With the water as clear as it is the fish should be able to see the glow for a good distance away.

Southlake just hold it up to one of the boat lights. They will chargem up just fine. A flashlight is not need for the grubs but.........I would have one anyway.

I think anywhere you can find docks with lights pointed into the water you will find fish! I only fish the Cedar Creek area because that is where my parents live - there are several around there that keep their lights on.

Well didn't get to fish as much as I wanted--only went out for about an hour an took a rookie with me when I went out. It was in upper 20's and he had on blue jean jacket and jeans. Lots of boat houses but almost none of them had lights on. Worked all around Gaines Bend and got a few bites but no hook ups. Didnt take long and my passenger wanted to head in. Had too many things going on during the retreat to go out on Saturday. Took about a 20 min boat ride to look at the lake and loaded up. Beautiful lake though.

My brother and I fished a few hours last night, caught 2 18" stripers and a crappie, fishing the lights between north D&D and Sandy Beach. Wind picked up around 9:30 and we headed in. Bad news is we saw lots of dead and dying baitfish and perch.

Fished Friday night and caught 2 largemouths one 3.6 one 4.5 and a couple striper biggest went 3.3. Went out again Sat night and got BLANKED!!! Alot of shad are dying or swimming around slowly - I think it is like a free buffet on PK right now for the fish. These shad are sitting ducks!

I didn't see anything dead other than samll shad. Lets hope it doesn't get worse and starts killing the game fish!!!

It big difference between a couple weekend ago when my dad and I tore em up both nights!
