Has anyone got on the hybrids on Palestine yet. I see birds, but no concentrations and no schools. I plan to go out Saturday. Any ideas for Hybrids/sandies would be greatly appreciated. STEVE T

If anyone has any suggestions, I am listening. Going out about 8 in the morning. I may go to old folks for blacks to start with.

It should be good today with the cloud cover.
I did better that I expected yesterday with the
high sky and N/E and E wind. Main lake points in
15 ft water. Bait of the day was white/chartruse bucktail
3/4 oz.

water was 61, they should break loose soon.

Thats the best way to kill a bite. Cell phones and 2 way radio magnetic waves interfere with a fishes ability to stay in one place and confuses them into losing their appetite. So its best to go home and use a land line to call me when they are biting. thumb thumb

I recommend taking some pen raised hybrids along in case it is slow.

Caught some nice Hybrids yesterday and today, lots of birds chasing the shad. Looks like its on now at lake Palestine. Also got to meet Jeff (sanbasscamp) out on the lake today, its always nice seeing a fellow TFF member while out fishing. For awhile there we were both just catching the heck out them fish, it was great !

Glad to hear that. I hope to get up to Palestine over Christmas break. Usually do very well then on the hybrids and crappie.

Marty it was good to met you also. It was non stop for a while. You was pretty proficient with that swimbait.

Mo, at one time we could've caught them standing on your pier. Got to eat turkey today but will be thinking about yesterday.

Just a reminder for this weekend, try not to run into the birds. It was nice with Marty and me being the only boat and he knew how to approach birds working.
