My friend and I are gonna get Sevylor Fish Hunter 280! Does anyone have any experience with them? And do we need to get a title and all that stuff to launch it in Grapevine Lake? We wanted to get a Jon Boat but Trailers and such is pretty expensive....

Not really sure which boat you are talking about but if it is going to have a trolling motor you have to get it registered. I would recommend a bass buster type boat over the inflatable as well. Fits in the back of your truck and a much better fishing platform.

You shouldn't need anything other than oars, life jackets and a condensed tackle box...Remember to be careful with the hooks and I hope you and your buddy are good friends...I fished out of an inflatable 4 person boat with a buddy of mine about 3 years ago and it's pretty tight quarters...
Perhaps 2 2 man boats would be better?

Have you considered a kayak?

Yes, we considered Kayaks, but same problem as before, transporting it. We are getting a 6 man Boat, 12 feet, with 30LB Trolling motor. I think it should be plenty of room. We are going to try in Bedford Boy's Ranch Pond to check it out first, then move onto lake.

Get a roof rack. I have tried them all (In order: 8' buster, inflatable, 10' buster, 10' bass hound, 14' jon boat, and now kayak) and an inflatable is really the last thing i would go for.
