Hit the lake last night w/ Brewer and had a good but short trip (6:15-8:00). We boated approx. 12 fish with the largest going 4.19lbs. Fish are very active and seem to be feeding on shad for the most part. We ended up with four keepers, almost all caught on the Nichols Hologram spinnerbait. This is my favorite time of year on Canyon, wish I was out there today.

i will be at "your" ramp at 6:15 with the cat, ready, to back down into the water. don't get any speeding tickets on the way.

I'd bet those spinnerbaits are expensive on the lake...about 20 bucks?
