Hey all,

I got my boat used and it had a Garmin 185 Gps on the console from 2000. I know this is outdated and discontinued. As I look through it obviously many of the lakes have changed and it doesn't give a good representation of where I am actually located.

Does anyone know if there is any kind of an updated card of software that I can get for this to bring it current?
I am trying to wait a bit before updating to Lowrance electronics.

Thanks

I have a 172 and the program to download texas maps to it.via sd card.I don't know if it will work for a 185;however,if you are ever up at canyon lake we can see if my card will work in your unit.If it does then you will have to purchase a blank sd card from garmin and we can download maps for your unit.I purchased all the programming equipment threw e-bay.
