a couple sun fish and a couple nice bass! caught in a creek in plano by my house! really fun to catch bass in 2-3 feet of water on an ultralight!
1 bass

2 bass got dark!

what type of sun fish are they? pretty fish though!

First one is a green sunfish, 2nd looks like a longear

Looks like a good time! I have been suprised where I have found bass as well. Been fishing a small creek by where I work and have pulled out some quality LMbass. And if the bass are not biting you can catch perch all day. Good boost of confidence... which for me is needed from time to time.

It's always nice to pull some decent fish out of a local creek.
Have a creek around here i fish every now and then. Sometimes I'll catch a decent bass.. sometimes tons of carp and I will occasionally find a deeper hole and have fun with a big yellow.

Snakes are fine left alone, they wont bother you.
I 'collect' reptiles and in all the time I've spent herping around here I've seen maybe 1 cotton mouth out of 50 water snakes in creeks around here.
