Well what another great week on the big blue and Dolly left us a present as we have enjoyed a rise in the water level of a little over a 1'6". This has led to some exciting mornings where some bigger fish have moved shallow. We have been enjoying good numbers on Ribbits in baby bass colors as well as watermelon/orange. The big bites we have had have been on a baby bass super spook and a wake bait in blugill patterns. The grass bite has been pretty hot in the heat of the day. I have been using 1ounce ezee jigs in rio perch and a reverse Texas rig with a double wide beaver. If your just looking for numbers you can find schoolies in most of the major creeks and can be caught on pointer 78sp in aurora pro-blue and ghost minnow. Here are a few pics from some clients who were new to bass fishing but seemed to be hooked for life!

Don't forget if your tough enough to stand the heat. The fishing on the big blue is just as hot give me a call, and take advantage of the discount package Anglers Lodge and I are offering where we can save you money on both your trip as well as your room. So let's go make a fishing memory that will last a lifetime! As always if I can be of any help to make your trip to the big blue easier or just answer questiones on lodging and what to expect please feel free to call my cell wether you book with me or not I am always willing to help.

Respectfully,

Jc Gwynne
